here is one example: https://www.abercrombie.com/shop/us/p/the-a-and-f-mila-midi-dress-58938370?categoryId=12265&faceout=life&seq=08
This is cute, my 40 year old self would wear this. So a teen would likely hate it?
My 16 year old would love that. Your 40 year old self might want to lay off the cherry prints.
You did see the dress came in other prints, including a lemon print, and some solid colors, no?
That store and dress and not geared towards 40 year old moms, but I’m sure you know what you’ll look good in. -NP, mom to 18 yr old daughter
This is funny, because Abercrombie has made a deliberate effort to pivot and cater to the Millenial generation (40ish) for whom it was cool in their youth. They actively want the 40 year old moms and that's reflected in a lot of their clothing. They're competing with Madewell.
My 13 year old was at a mall birthday party with friends recently and one of the places they stopped at was Abercrombie. Definitely still a teen thing too, plus a place for Millenial nostalgia (despite the quality being totally shot).
