NP. I hadn't heard of Speed Queen until I got tired of replacing two expensive sets of laundry machines in 5 years and walked into a laundromat to see what they used. Speed Queens!  So I went to an independent appliance store that carried them and bought a white basic set with manual knobs and front loading agitator. As old-fashioned as they come. It's been great. Only had a few minor repairs. Repair guys say they are the most reliable machines on the market. The classic toploader is now the TC5. [/quote]

Pp again. The only drawback I can see is they use a lot of water relative to front loaders. So I make sure to adjust the load size or do full loads. I love how I can soak stained laundry and the SQ are solid steel made in the US--try pushing them, they stay put. Not inexpensive but they last. [/quote]
