I don’t understand why people who are not even from El Salvador are being sent there. I mean, technically, if you are here illegally you should not be here and should be removed to wherever you came from. I’m not sure why El Salvador is becoming a middle man. [/quote]

2) the claim that it's because Maduro wouldn't take them is bogus. It always was an unconvincing rationalization but now proven bunk since Maduro immediately changed the policy after realizing that the US is taking a page out of the Hitler handbook and said he'd accept deportees -- and yet it took the Supreme Court's intervention to stop another flight last night! From now on when anyone posts this bogus explanation, please denounce the misinformation!

3) Many have already posted on what's in this for El Salvador. They got back a gang leader whom Bukele had negotiated with and freed who was about to blab to the world. No one will ever hear from him again. They are getting fame and money. But why would the US pick El Salvador? Donald Trump admires Bukele, that's why, and he is so easy to manipulate. And the smart(er) ones who actually know what's happening (DT clearly doesn't): Rubio, Miller, Vance and others have sold their souls, if they ever had one (in Steven Miller's case), and have chosen to violate the Constitution, disregard the Supreme Court, disobey deferal judges' rulings, dismiss human rights' conventions, and lie brazenly and loudly because they want to create terror. Yes, it serves their purpose of making the US disgustingly undesirable for immigrants (and they are going to celebrate this of course, they will celebrate the fact that they have Made America Horrific ) but we will all pay for letting this happen.[/quote]
