[/quote] Maybe because that's not historically accurate, but is instead a framing of history in a way which is inflammatory, biased, and simply incorrect. "Stole" implies legal ownership of something to start with, and the land in question was part of the British Mandate at the time Israel came into existence. Britain took possession after defeating the Ottomans in WWII. Palestinians never "owned" the land, although some of them lived on it along with Jews, Lebanese, Syrians, and others. [/quote]
