OP here. I added the full transcript. It took some digging to find. You know how the majority of people keep saying Palestinians vs Israelis instead of Hamas vs Netanyahu|IDF? It’s frustrating to no end. And it’s why there’s a huge divide and no one is allowed to “both sides.” We weep for the Israelis killed, raped, maimed, and taken hostage. We weep for the innocent Palestinians who have been killed, raped, maimed, and orphaned.

I really don’t want to sanewash anything Trumps says, but I think he meant to compare Palestinians (not Hamas) with Germans (not Nazis).

Many Germans (not Nazis) tried to help the Jewish people. Whether it was as simple as a loaf of bread or hiding them in their homes. Others helped them escape the Holocaust by securing their “papers” and transport to other countries.

Some innocent Palestinians (not Hamas) treated Israeli hostages with compassion, extra food, medical treatment. Sadly, these were mostly hostages kept in homes. You’d have to read or watch interviews of the released hostages. Of course there aren’t many speaking about it. Netanyahu silences them because it might harm the remaining hostages. [/quote]
