I don’t think we’ve had a lesser qualified US Attorney General in modern history. As an applicant from Florida she went to UF majoring in Criminal Justice. She went to law school at Stetson University in Florida. The University has about an 85% Acceptance rate. The law school accepts about half of the applicants. The only other Attorney General that didn’t go to top universities was Jeff sessions who went somewhere in Alabama. Her most famous case was leading some other state Republican Attorneys General in trying to overturn affordable health care. She failed. She supported and lied for Trump claiming fraud happened in certain states where Trump lost. She was rewarded for her lies byTrump handing her the top attorney position in the country. Republicans and Democrats used to choose the candidates with top educations and had real accomplishments. Do we tell our children not to bother working for the government because the cheaters have taken over?
Bondi was a well tenured AG for one of our most populated states. That speaks more to her qualifications than your opinion of the quality of law school she attended. Hate for Bondi due to her association with Trump is fair game. Saying she isn't "qualified" simply because she is a female and went to a "third tier" law school is what pea-brained bigots do.
Whether you like it or not there is a reason that Supreme Court justices and attorneys general have degrees from the best law schools. There’s nowhere better to learn and understand the Constitution than Harvard or other Ivy League schools. She did nothing impressive as the AG in Florida. And no doubt she’s corrupt. Bondi in 2013 publicly announced that Florida might be joining New York in suing Trump university because of the many complaints that were coming into the AG office. After Trump gave Bondi a $25,000 check for one of her campaigns (from his charity foundation!) she changed her mind. What should have immediately disqualified her from the AG job was her excessive Fox News interview where she claimed that there was fraud in the states that Trump lost. She also visited states like Pennsylvania, Michigan and Georgia, frequently with Giuliani to get maga going with their false claims. News from back in 2020 shows Bondi speaking in front of an audience said the following… “We are not going anywhere until they declare Trump won Pennsylvania,” she said. “All the good residents who are all supporting us in Pennsylvania, their votes don’t count by these fake ballots that are coming in late.” When asked to explain what she meant by fake ballots, Bondi said: “There could be. That’s the problem. … We know that ballots have been dumped. … We’ve heard that people were receiving ballots that were dead.”
