David and his late father have a disturbing history involving their work to discredit vaccines. David's father was a physician, David has a BA in biology. They "treated" kids with high levels of testosterone injections on a theory that this could bind mercury from vaccines.

"Eventually, the Geiers’ aberrant behaviour led to penalties. Dr. Mark Geier’s medical licenses were suspended from every state in which he had one, and his son was charged in Maryland with practicing medicine without a license and fined $10,000."
