I wouldn’t buy reverse ETFs, too much counter party risk. Go read up on auction rate securities and how some of the smart shorts in GFC went bust because their counterparties couldn’t pay up.

But you are probably young, under 50, and only known an economy where the Fed could come galloping in and slash rates and QE and bail out investors. That era is over. We may rebound. Tariffs may be rolled back in a week. No one knows. But the “every drop is stocks on sale” is a dangerous mindset. [/quote]

Tariffs are not going away.

No companies are building anything ie warehouses or factories in the US in the next 20 years.  Recessions tend to do that.[/quote]
