I think what they're implying is that it's a neighborhood with historically very little crime, so if there was an uptick in crime after the school opened, it is likely students (or teachers?) are responsible. What do they need to be careful about exactly?[/quote]

Are you really that obtuse? To recap, a bunch of UMC white people are upset about the uptick in crime in their expensive neighborhood after a school opens that is attended by mostly black and brown kids. [/quote]

What does it matter who attends the school.  The issue is that there is an increase in crime after the school opened.

I mean if what PP above says it’s correct, then it is definately crime that is not typical - weapons in yards, people getting beat up, weed smoked out in public, etc….[/quote]
