What are you talking about? 24-25 was up 1% from year prior. DCPS is at or above where it was pre-pandemic. It remains to be seen what the current environment will bring, but what you typed is simply wrong.

I am not making things up, but I meant to say that the city does not have as high a population forecast as it did before. So some schools will have to close or at least downsize, and it seems like I Dream saw the writing on its particular wall. I suppose we'll find out more details eventually.[/quote]

You said what you said. The exact quote was, " [i]The city just doesn't have the student population it had before[/i]". How are you going to argue that was intended to be a statement about enrollment projections? That doesn't even pass the smell test. You made up a stat and got called out for doing so. I was kidding before about you being a DOGE staffer but now I'm seriously wondering if you might be. It takes that kind of chutzpah to just pretend you didn't say what you said and hope no one notices.
