[/quote] Always the same thing: people (I use this word to be kind) simply do not know the rules, or what it is meant when we talk about “the spirit of the game” but they feel very comfortable making these comments about refs. But this is the reason why people behave this way: they believe they know, they believe that soccer is like football when you stop the game for everything, they believe they understand all the rules (knowing and understanding is different), they believe refs are one sided. And that lead them to go crazy. This is easier that accepting that you are clueless, and it apparently we live in this world where if you scream something very loud, that is going to make it true. You know like toddlers do. Worst thing: you see this type of behavior coming from the most adorable people.
