OP here - I have made a VERY conscious decision to make sure my daughter knows that people come in all shapes and sizes and to NOT comment on anybody's body and their size.  Yes she is much smaller than her friends but that doesn't make them big. I would HATE to know her comments, even off hand, would make another child, especially a girl, feel bad about their body.
