Colleges aren't resorts, but the "crappy dorms" statement is a stretch. BU has a wide assortment of good housing, especially for upperclassmen, which I assume your DD is now (unless she graduated already).

My kid is currently living in said "crappy dorm" room, mold and all.  Yes, they have good dorms but the transfer kids get put in the crappy one the first year.  [/quote]
