Let me explain.  This is a PERM case.

I worked at that company for four years I had the same job title, the first time I found out happened right after they me go.  During the same period, I had recruiter contact me, see quote below.  This is the second time that this has happened to me with this company.  I can go on the USCIS website and review all the cases where I applied in the area and where they hide their PERMs, for jobs.  PERMs for jobs in my field while I was unemployed often for months at a time.  This happens actually very frequently, and companies pull all kinds of shenanigans unbeknownst to the unsuspecting applicant.  From requiring mail in applications to setting up all kinds of ticky tacky spam messages.  I was naive to this for many years, but now I know why these are basically hostile interviews trying to prove that I don't have skills, because they already have a person employed.  They are just "testing" the market, trying to depress the wages for LCAs, etc.  In this process there is basically zero protections for me, no I don't have a lawyer making sure they fill out the paperwork correctly and only ask permissible questions or that these "skills" are even relevant to the positions.  Why do I have to go to so many interviews to get a job?
