I've been using Stri Vectin neck cream for years and the last 2 bottles I have allergic reaction and rashes.what's wrong with the new Stri Vectin?I have a new one.and I can't used it anymore.its too expensive.i need a refund?I bought it at Macy and they have a record how long I've been using this product but suddenly,I have allergic reaction.i thought it's from my necklace.but I took my necklace .REFUND
I recently had the exact same experience! I have been using Strivectin for probably 20+ years with no issues whatsoever. I use both the face and neck cream as well as the eye cream. However, the most recent eye cream I purchased have caused major issues with my upper eyelids. It started as dry and super itchy. Then it turned red and swollen and was very gross looking. It caused peeling and crepeiness in the eyelid skin. Even my actual eyes were burning and dry and so irritated I could hardly see clearly without applying eyedrops regularly. I went to my PCP who prescribed antibiotics thinking there was perhaps an infection. This did not work. Then I went to my eye doctor who gave me eye drops and told me to use a hot compress then express my tear ducts nightly. This went on for several weeks with no improvement. I even went two full weeks with no make up on my eyelids. Finally, I decided to try a regular eye cream from Loreal and within a couple days, it was almost completely better. A week later, just to see, I tried the Strivectin eye cream again. This time I used a travel size tube of Strivectin eye cream. I got the exact same irritation which confirmed that Strivectin was the cause. I'm so disappointed and not sure how an allergic reaction could start after using this product for so long unless they changed the formula. I have noticed that the color of the cream is now more of an off-white color and it used to be white, but that change occurred quite a while ago. So far the face and neck cream isn't causing issues, but I will likely change products just in case.
