Huh? Are you a boomer? I have been dining at michelin star restaurants for years, even when DH and I did not crack three figures each and we still make only a quarter of your salary combined with two kids to boot.

We enjoy good food and will purposely save up for it the way some folks will spend on Taylor Swift Tickets, etc. Also a single michelin star or two does not mean it is astronomically expensive we are not talking about 3-star michelin restaurants like Inn at Little Washington. I work with others in their 30s who are not rich, but they do splurge on nice restaurants with friends sometimes simply because it's fun.[/quote]
