My kids have a textbook and a workbook and the concepts are really well taught just by the curriculum itself (as it points out in that link). That said, Singapore Math really has it's own language/way of thinking and I cannot imagine bringing all the elementary schools in FCPS around quickly. They'd have to have more training days off - seriously. Maybe there's a middle ground that's not Singapore but is still well done?[/quote]
