No, I think these are parents who want their DCPS and Charter or Private siblings to have the same break. At our school there are a number of kids who are in DCPS ES but Latin for MS and now the break will align.[/quote]

Maybe... But I have one in DCPS now and one in a charter middle, and I vastly prefer the charter schedule (more full weeks off, fewer 3 and 4 day weekends). [/quote]
