As a parent I'm automatically quasi disgusted with anyone who works for mcps before we even begin a conversation.  I've found over the years that everyone who works here knows they're doing a worse job for the kids than they could. I don't know a single teacher who isn't aware of: grade inflation ans anti-student curriculums. I mean.. your job is to teach children and yet you support an institution that prevents learning. What do you expect. Teaching doesn't carry the social positivity it once did.[/quote]

Fortunately for you, many of us work HARD, giving up our own time and resources, to provide the best experience for your children. We are aware of the system’s problems and work as best we can with those limitations. We also fight on behalf of your children internally, something you don’t see.
