Employment taxes are paid by the employer only. Not by employees. This is why employers may contest an employees application for benefits.[/quote] Realistically employer side taxes are still paid by the employee as those are all budgeted personnel expenses that would theoretically be used to increase pay otherwise. It's like saying "renters don't pay property tax." Sure, they technically don't, but if you think your landlord isn't using your rent to pay their property tax and passing on any increases to you, you're out of your mind. [/quote]
