Her liver failure was due to years of substance abuse (first alcohol and later drugs), which began when we were buddies. She got clean after it was too late for her liver and died before her 35th birthday. Not everything has to be a sarcastic joke. My friend was not eligible for a transplant due to UNOS rules. [/quote]
