Ok but have even one if you peasants ever set foot in a private club? OP asked for advice and is getting nothing but crap. Grow up OP: university club, city tavern, and metropolitan are all very family friendly. I’m a member of the Sulgrave club. Worth looking into. There are guest events throughout the year to give you a chance to meet members and see how you like the vibe.
Way to represent the Sulgrave Club by calling people peasants. That is why no one with any money or class wants to join these striver clubs, just people like OP. Here is some advice for the original poster, put your kids in a private school if you want to meet people "that matter." - member of local country club that never goes because it's lame and I hate strivers, but my husband likes to golf
