Same. We did a kitchen renovation past year and one of the builders recommended to me was MAGA. Went to his website. The banner photo was him posing with an AK-47 and flag.  Instant nope.  Our decision was validated a few days later when I was driving my son to jazz band.  He tailgated me in his contractor truck, then angrily passed on a double yellow line and cut me off. It turned out he was also dropping his son at jazz band 🙄

Cool story bro.  Plenty of those same stories in the reverse over the past 8+ years. But what does that have to do with FAFO for MAGA supporters?

Right now it's too early to see what the impact of DOGE will be. There will be collateral damage to MAGA supporters, but for now the damage is being done to the established system (and there are few MAGA supporters complaining).

As an aside, I thought Democrats were in favor of dismantling the current institutions because they were systemically biased?  If this is (still) true, why don't Democrats embrace DOGE and help remake those institutions more fair?  Why fight so hard for the status quo?  Democrats should be much more targeted in their attacks to rebuild credibility. Hyperbolic claims aren't helping their cause, especially when numerous examples exist of fraudulent and wasteful spending. [/quote]
