crazy to buy one you can’t afford if your income drops. Yes. we are talking WEALTHY people who have managed to over shoot their load. We aren’t talking about the average middle class american just trying to survive.  If you are wealthy enough to afford private school, but can’t afford it with a job loss you have ZERO business putting your kids in private school in the first place. You are playing in a league you don’t belong in.

Unless your kids have some major learning issues and the private schools are to specifically address that, you should not put them in private unless you can afford to keep them there thru a job loss.
