You just have know 5th grade math and work quickly.[/quote] You need to know 7th grade math and work quickly. That said, we looked at questions because our kid was worried. It took 30 seconds to realize that the questions were stupidly easy for him and to stop worrying. He enjoys math competitions so the timing wasn’t an issue and the material was straightforward. That said, a good number of kids don’t pass at the necessary threshold to take Algebra 1 in 7th. That should be ok with parents because proper placement in math is important is establishing strong skills.[/quote]
