I have not yet seen Emilia Pérez (and was unsure if I would because I was put off by the musical angle) but Karla Sofía Gascón has been a darling of the awards circuit this year. Will be interesting to see how Hollywood responds.

The way she went after literally ever race is disgusting!! The academy will need to say something to denounce her. I read this good article that said Hollywood only attached themselves to EP because of the current political world. They wanted another greenwood. Well looks like EP perfectly reflects our society [/quote]
