I would really like to start saving more for my kid's college, but darnit, this is a crappy job market for me too (seriously, it is. I'm in journalism). Therefore, I will tell prospective employers that although I was making $71,000 a few years ago, now I will do the same exact job except I want them to pay me $120,000.
