My DH can describe exactly why a tomato makes him gag, my SIL can illustrate what happens to her mouth when a spicy pepper hits her lips. Sure, but the way OP has dismissed a comment suggesting it may not have been a good version of the cake, when this was OP's first and ONLY experience with tres leches cake, and she has no way of even knowing if it was a good one or not, suggests that she's a remarkable uncurious and rigid person. She doesnt seem open to new experiences or guidance, let alone new flavors. It almost suggests a childlike mentality, like a toddler who screams and cries when mommy tries to give them veggie ravioli. The rigidity and self assurance that she knows everything about tres leches cake because of one bad experience is fairly bizarre [/quote]

+1. Listen, OP had a tres leche once and posted here to see whether anyone could possibly like this dessert which is quite popular. Then she called it gross. Frankly, I think PP was pretty darn gentle. Of course we all have different preferences but if you could on here to be rude, you might get a little gentle pushback.[/quote]
