We're on our 4th travel coach and none of them have been overly inspiring or overly motivating to the players. They work on team stuff, some skills and being the 'Steady Eddy' Just showing up, day-in and day-out. None of them want to overpromise abilities and conflate kids egos. They want to keep the kids humble and showing up. I believe kids do need that outside the group passion igniter and highly motivating coach! It's no different than finding, and paying for, a highly passionate tutor to help your kid with school work. -Instilling motivation is a heck of a good skill to have! [/quote]
