[/quote] A RIF is a formal process with very strict requirements for how it's run. You can read the rules on OPM's website. It's not "this office does something we no longer prioritize so we want to get rid of the office." That's not a RIF. To get rid of most of us, they will force Schedule F through and then just fire us at will. That's the whole point of Schedule F. And no, they will not owe us severance pay for firing us.[/quote]
