No one knows what the cut off is this year, or previous years. It’s “locally normed” which means it varies according to how much poverty there is in your schools. In some schools that means kids scoring say 97th percentile do not get in. In other schools, scores above 70th percentile are in the pool. These are example numbers. So yes, it is way more complicated than you think it is and your kid likely didn’t net the criteria.[/quote]
