This is true but very few places tax and spend well. Arlington is one of those places where it's super expensive but you can look around at the services, public spaces, buildings and infrastructure of 99% of the county and see where the money is being spent. I can see why it's expensive but for residents like PPs,  it probably feels like money well spent.

Based on the title wording I'm sure this thread was made in response to the MD income tax increase thread as some sort of gotcha but realistically when you're driving through MD, it's hard to see why their taxes are so much higher. You don't see the return on investment. [/quote]
