It’s still going on now. The nursing staff and CNA staff are totally checked out and not even phased by the mice. Also the temperatures in this place are very high, it’s suffocating in there. It can’t be a healthy environment for elderly people. It smells strong like poop in the hallway. Really bad experience getting off the elevator to an overly warm room filled with strong poop smell. I retched. If I hadn’t been there to visit someone I care about, I would have left right away. We are trying to get our family member transferred to another facility right away. The conditions here are not good.

While there, our family saw a mouse and got very upset- there shouldn’t be mice in elderly people’s rooms! And the staff acted like we were the problem for being upset. I feel bad for anyone who stays there. I heard from a manager after submitting a complaint. They’ve employed some kind of dog service to supposedly help with the rodent problem. Cats would be more effective.

Like a previous poster, I called the Montgomery County Health Department and learned the health department has been there multiple times in 2024.

The problem still isn’t fixed
