Plate pushes- push the plate of food away. yes you can exercise your abs but abs are made in the kitchen. Exercise will not give you a flat tummy only diet will do that.
Yes that's true but you're talking aesthetics. Having a strong core is still important as its foundational to many other exercises as well as your daily activities.
Yes, I am taking aesthetics because that is what OP asked about. She stated that she has a strong core and is looking to "lose the belly" and that is all about fat loss. had she asked about having a strong core I would have given exercise recommendations.
It's the OP. I mentioned I also plan to lose 10-15 lbs but....It's not just about fat loss because the muffin top was still there when I was at a lower weight and running half marathons. I do have a pretty strong core with the activities I do but wasn't doing any exercises to target the ab region. I definitely had weaker abs after pregnancy, so much so that I never got back to any regular ab exercise. I even occasionally had a twinge of pain just getting out of bed or going from sit to stand- like a hernia. It seemed lower abs were more of a problem that lower. Anyway for the last 3 days I started working on lower abs, and I already look more toned! The muffin top looks less creased and I don't feel like I'm going to herniate anymore. I think it's like having strong pecs to support your chest. Breasts are also just fat but I find I don't look as saggy because of strong pecs. Anyway, thanks for all who suggested exercises. Will keep these up for sure and report back.
 That is mental. There is no way you "look more toned" form doing 3 days of ab exercises. You may look better if you changed your diet especially after the holiday bloat is gone but no one is getting "toned" in 3 days.
