The Williamsburg area was our spring break trip last year, and we had a lot of fun. Nighttime ghost tour and witch trial, daytime touring the historic area, eating at Taverns, one day Busch Gardens, one day Great Wolf Lodge, and one day Yorktown/Jamestown. Exactly what we wanted.
Meant to add, plenty of rented scooters around in the historic area.
When we went a couple of years ago, you couldn’t book the carriage tours in advance. You could however, book a tour of the stables in advance. If I were going back, I would absolutely do that. We got a Williamsburg/Busch Gardens bounce ticket and spent 1.5 days at Busch Gardens and 1.5 days in Colonial Williamsburg and it was a really nice spring break trip. This. We went a few years ago. My mom got one at Yorktown and Jamestown. Not sure about Williamsburg. If you do go, book a carriage tour like now.
