It never should’ve been tarted-up to the luxury appointments it had in previous models. It should never have been made into a “high end car” to begin with. It’s an off-road truck. It’s made to go off-road. It’s great that it’s going back to its roots.

If you want a high end car, get a high end CAR.

I think it was Land Rover changing its iconic body shapes, not adding lux features. IMO, they have a small enough production that they should have left well enough alone and maybe come up with a few new models rather than replace classics. I don't hate the newer Defender or Discovery, but people still want to buy the older ones. [/quote]
