[b]After many years of doing no volunteering I’m feeling a strong desire to give back to my community. But it’s true I don’t know exactly how this will play out, and this is where I get kind of stuck. I’m not in a position now to really commit to different volunteer options, but this means it would be a leap of faith to try them after quitting my job. I worry about that. If anyone else has been in this position I’d love to hear how you handled it and how it worked out. [/b]I agree it will be really important to stay engaged and have some sort of rhythm to my days, and that’s something I need to pay attention to for sure.
