It was helpful to have slightly less expectation of being present (no going into my office on off days), but in no way was my workload doable in the agreed upon PT hours. The company was open to it bc I was a good employee, didn’t require them to hire and train a new person, and they were about to pay me 50% of my salary for what was really probably closer to 80% of my normal workload. I wouldn’t recommend it long term unless you can very clearly make the hours match the workload.[/quote]
