Then get the family home ready for sale, spend a month clearing it out (trashing anything you and your siblings don't want) and be done with it. I'd consider selling the Vacation home as well. Sure you can VRBO/AirBNB it, but you have to manage that or hire someone to manage it. And pay for maintenance/any issues. Unless you want to do that, just get rid of it and invest the profits.
