College admissions are a crap shoot for a lot of kids and there are some high stats kids who don’t get into places where you think they would.[/quote] IMO, even high stats, if a school has a less than 20% acceptance rate, you should assume you will get rejected, then be surprised if you gain admission. So focus on finding the best Target and safeties for your kid. And not all targets should be 26% acceptance rates with your kid at 50%. some should be where your kid is at/above 75/80% and closer to 40% acceptance. DO that and you will get admitted. [/quote]
