As a teacher who's a career changer, too, but who's been in the system now since '96, I'd like to say thank you to your SO!

I'm glad there are dedicated people who care about kids.

Sadly, with our salaries as low as they are, it's damaging to our image.  So we don't attract the best and the brightest.  Benefits are good, however.  [/quote]
