This forum is for Advanced Academic Program in Fairfax County, Virginia. [/quote] FCPS recognizes the old "STEM" has been diversified / corrected to "STEAM" and the "A" is for Arts. And Arts include musical arts, such as violin. Why shouldn't OP's child be admitted into the Advanced Academic Program on the basis of her artistic abietites? It is one of the considerations on FCPS's new "HOPE" rating sheet. [/quote]
