The best route would be for your child to score higher on the CogAt, because that would be a strong indication she actually belongs in AAP.

Please do not push your kids into AAP if they’re Cogat, IReady, and HOPE scores all point to general education being the right place for your child.

Oh sweetie, the only difference between AAP and General Education is math. If OP's child is good at math, they'll do great in AAP. Personally, we have opted out because I don't want to send our child to the Center and I don't want them stuck with the exact same class for four years. It's a nightmare when LLIV kids hit middle school.[/quote]
