And it's annoying when we're with others that do buy crap all the time. The difference is that after the first or second instance of this (where the other parent buys my kid something unneeded), I would make a conscious effort to keep my own kids away from the store/concession stand when the other family goes to it. At the next park, if you want to buy stuff for your kid only then you two should break off for a bit and explore on your own. Then both families get a break from each other.[/quote]
