We had lots of fun at both Massanutten and GWL. I definitely found Massanutten much more relaxing. I think it was the outdoor opportunities. Also, even though the waterpark at Massanutten is definitely dated, it has more features and the kids had more to do. Also, better restaurants at Massanutten plus we had a kitchen.
