It is really suspicious. A private investigator tried to help and is alluding that the family is not being honest at all. Family said she missed her connecting flight to NYC but the investigator found video evidence that she went to baggage claim and picked up bags that were tagged from Hawaii to LAX so it looks like she really didn't have a connection flight and intended to go to LA. The family won't comment on this allegation.
It's called skip lagging.
When you skip lag you can only check bags to your final destination, not to the layover city. There is a picture of her at baggage claim with a checked baggage tag on her suitcase in the same clothes she was wearing when she deplaned. The family is not being upfront at all. Either she picked up her baggage the same day as her flight because she intended to stay in LA or she went back alone to pick it up since there is no one else in the picture. There is no way the FBI is involved. It is obvious she is a voluntary missing 31 year old woman. LAPD is not treating her as a missing person. It is annoying that there are really missing people in LA and this case is potentially taking away publicity and research from another case. The family is not being transparent.
