I would go with GFR. VYS rec is a joke. It’s all in house only and does not participate in any all star tournaments. Everyone I know at GFR is very happy. It’s a better choice. [/quote]

Why would rec soccer need tournaments?  it's rec.  90% of the players are there because the parents want babysitting.

OP, find the club with decent dependable coaches.  That's it.  Most rec club teams have a hard time finding parent volunteers to coach and you end up with parents who don't know anything and don't try (sometimes don't even show up).  Don't focus on the club.  Focus on the coaches.[/quote]
