I often factor this into hotel choice-- is breakfast included and if not are there cafes or bakeries walking distance so we can get breakfast easily. I consider that am essential amenity because it makes travel with kids much easier if you can have breakfast fairly easily after getting up. When they were very little we'd bring cereal in a Tupperware in our bag and buy a small thing of milk and give them that upon waking just because it cuts back on complaining to have that familiar routine available.[/quote]
