Someone brought this honey butter skillet corn to a potluck once. It was devoured. I'm sure there is a recipe online but from what I remember it was corn, honey, butter, and a little bit of cream cheese. High quality ingredients a must.
Best succes with corn was to cut a full cob in half or thirds or get the frozen halves. Boil. Put a soaked wooden skewer through it- roll in melted butter, salt, pepper, paprika/old bay. Stick something green on each end if you want. Foil tray in oven with extra butter on top- get some browning on it. That skillet corn is melt some butter, add frozen corn with lttle bit of water, then teaspoon of cream cheese per 12 ounce corn. People preferred it less goopy. Dash of honey, salt, pepper. Looks nice with ground pepper. Can twice bake with some random light breadcrumbs and paprka plus parsley flakes on top. Too much cream cheese and it looks like you cracked open the can of creamed corn.
