But why? Rogan isn’t Ted Koppell or Bill O Reilly. He is not a hard news guy. He just wanted to get to know her and talk about life. The same thing he did with Trump. Policy would’ve  only been a side note.

He wasn’t going to ask her gotcha questions. He also changed his politics and positions on things and if Kamala explained why she changed her position on things once she received new info (the same thing Trump said), she would’ve came off as more human and relatable. The fact that Trump admitted to mistakes but Kamala didn’t is the biggest surprise to me.[/quote]

It was out of her comfort zone. She thought she could win without leaving it.

Trump going on Schulz’ podcast was a watershed moment in the campaign. It showed that he was willing to risk being made a fool to win over new voters.

I’m not sure Biden’s camp believed that he could actually lose the election until the debate.

I’m not sure Kamala’s camp believed that she could actually lose the election until she actually lost it.
